Abstract
Toldy Ferenc (születési nevén Schedl Ferenc Károly József) (Buda, 1805. augusztus 10. – Budapest, 1875. december 10.) irodalomtörténész, kritikus, egyetemi tanár, a Magyar Tudományos Akadémia tagja, titkára, 1841-től 1861-ig Kisfaludy Társaság igazgatója, majd másodelnöke.
