In this distinctive dry wine the wine-making team, advised by Angela Muir MW, has sought to combine the region's heritage with modern wine-making practices to produce a fresh and crisp young wine, wuth well-balanced finish. Furmint, a characterful grape particular to Hungary is the backbone for the famous Tokai Aszú wines. Castle Island Tokaji Furmint is the perfect accompaniment both to rich traditional dishes, particularly fish and white meats and those with innovative modern spicing. In this less familiar dry from it will surely be welcomed as a new discovery.
