Abstract
Andorka Rudolf (Budapest, 1931. április 30. – Budapest, 1997. június 30.) szociológus. 1949-től a bp.-i egy.-en joghallgató, 1951-ben kizárták; 1956-59-ben ismét a bp.-i egy.-en tanult. A szociológiai tud. kandidátusa (1979), doktora (1989). A Magyar Tudományos Akadémia levelező tagja (1990. május). 1991-től az Orsz. Tud. Kutatási Alap (OTKA) elnöke, 1995-től a M. Szociológiai Társ. elnöke, a Páneurópai Unió M. Egyesületének alelnöke.
